Is that a front mounted intercooler you have fitted?
The induction kit could (and mainly do) cause issues with the maf sensor, it can be sorted out with a remap but the maf sensors are very fragile in the MY99/00 cars and prefer the standard air intake (which wont be possible with a fmic).
Remap is a must if you want to keep your engine from killing itself.

A strong vote for Pat Herborn, he is our and 'Clinic's mapper of choice. Others pale into significance beside him........................

Well thats the reason ive had to go for an induction kit cos of the fmic, i bought a nice upgraded panel filter to go in the airbox until i seen were the fmic pipes routed lol so got a cone on there now! So the maf could be broken or just malfunctioning due to needing mapping... Should i get a spare just incase before i get a mapper out. Thanks for that number for duncan will try him!

Nice 1. And you rekon he can put the boost up on the road too whilst doing that first map then cos if he can may as well do that too as its running the standard boost. Obv will need a 3 port boost control for that wont i. Thanks

speak to duncan.. not sure u will need a 3port but if you do he can suply and fit before the map. i think you will find whatever you have fitted to your car he will map it so everything works to its full potential and yes boost can be increased
