Default 2002 sti headlight bulbs

One of my bulbs has gone so need to change it but are there better quality bulbs out there that give better or whiter light than a normal bulb ? If so Where is best place to buy and what are they called please,

most seem to go for Halfords . 120% brighter (aparently)

100w budget on the left , 55w 120% Halfords on the right.

Difficult to see from the above.

The only thing that you need to watch with budeget bulbs are:
1. Focus: some are poorly made = poor focus = less light where it should be than a normal bulb.
2. They can melt wiring/bulbholders etc.

you can see the difference more on the road surface.

Well i put a cheapish bulb in last time,before xmas and its gone again so thought may be something better i can use and get some benefit from,the phillips ones are mega dear tho arent they ?

Halfords Ultra Brilliance, were on BOGOF, 120% uprated, made by GE.......
