Default Does resetting an eng mgmt light, reset the whole ecu?i

I had to reset an engine mgmt light P0420 low efficiency cat following a decat last week. But having done the warning reset I'll swear the throttle response is more sluggish!?

In resetting the warning does this reset the whole ecu learning stuff and require it to be learned again?

Give her a couple of 3rd gear pulls 2k to the red line, you'll be back to normal after that.

Your mapper will probably reset your ecu anyway before they start, I would not go with Tez's recommendation on your car, it WILL damage your engine.
You need to keep off boost, keep off driving really, until you are ready to have the car mapped and take it really easy getting there.

Didn't read it properly. Thought you had had a remap.
