Default help with removing cam sensor?

97 impreza turbo, won't start been stood a little while found the cam sensor but appears to be stuck in the block? any tips on how to get it out?

Pull its guts out and pick at it gently from top if you need a new sensor have a few.
Don`t tap it, if you have too don't tap to hard or you might snap the sensor holder, then its a new pump.
soak with wd 40 duck oil the best

thankyou, is there any risk of debris falling inside the engine if it breaks, i tried and the brown plastic is breaking

take your front cover off and use a rag or masking tape before you start, if i was close ide come and do it for you.

thanks going get a new cam sensor ready, and try and get the old one out, just wondering if it was these sensors any idea why it started once we changed the ignition power transistor would that not of indicated it was this part, i know very little about engines, just love my car and want it running again, couldn't drive it cause of pregnancy, the seats just didn't work for me stood the car, and they ran it out of fuel moving it, so first thing i did was primed the fuel system with clean fuel, changed oil, now just really trying everything, someone as said take all the plugs out to let the charge run out of them?
