Good Afternoon gents,

front right tyre has seen better days, does it need to match the rest when I replace it (will be going part worn as that should match the rest, then replace all with new when all gone)

Any tips would help... thanks

 

They don't have to match front to back (although it's better if they do), but they should ideally match at either end of the axle - the car won't spontaneously combust if they don't match but it will probably find a hedge easier...

 

As above, do try to get a match on the same axle.

SIZE is VERY important, and make if you can plus same speed rating etc.

 

the size must be the same on all 4 corner's or you will end up winding up your diff,.

 

Thanks for all the comments, got a part worn to put me on, same size and similar tread depth left... good to know it wont blow up tho!!
