Fitting a new fan belt on a 1999 subaru impreza turbo
Hey guys,
Just wanted some advice I have picked up some nice CDF pulleys and noticed my fan belt is starting to fray. Want to fit the pulleys but not sure exactly how but the other bit I am not sure about is how do you get the right tension when fitting the new belt ?
Hope you can help.
Cheers,

There is a screw that sits behind the top of the belt, it can be adjusted by that.
If it's NOT present, slacken bolts, lever alternator lightly away from block and pinch bolts up.
Remember to check the tension after a month as new belts can stretch.
