Default What fuel/brake SS hose?

I'm going to be removing the hard brake and fuel lines inside the car for hose as i'm having it caged and it's in the way.

What hose is best for fuel and brake lines, you can get rubber or teflon with steel braid, but what one is best for a fuel and brake system.

I was even thinking of just running rubber fuel lines without braid, and then good braided line for the brake to prevent for expansion.

Is good braided line going to be better than copper?

Anyone know where to get good hose from?

Thanks

Do not use rubber lines inside the car, the smell will be quite bad, as the rubber lets vapour through. Torques.co.uk supplies teflon lines at the same or even lower prices then rubber lines, the fittings cost roughly the same , and the way one connects fittings to a teflon line (with a seperate olive) is much easier/better/foolproof then the barb and cutter design used for rubber lines.

A good braided brake line will be on par with the factory steel lines, and better then copper lines IMHO

www.torques.co.uk or alyn @ AS are both very good suppliers.

It's the fitment on the teflon line that is confusing me, i've been told you can not use worm drive like clips and only olive type end fitments, and i won't be using these end type fitments, jsut push fit.

Thanks

Just use the olive type, they are almost the same price, and you will end up with a much safer/better/cleaner design.
