99 TURBO 2000 ABS PROBLEM
Afternoon fellow scoob fans,
took advantage of the nice weather this afternoon to clear up a couple of little outstanding jobs on the car.
Clocks out to replace some blown illumination bulbs.
Found some missing as well, so immediately thought the ****in idiot muppet i got the car off has been in here
Anyway replaced all the bulbs and now found that the ABS warning light is on( no bulb in there when i got to it!
Now obviously thats why the ***** removed the bulb in the first place, so my question is now,,
is there a way of self testing the ABS system myself, or am i either looking at replacing yet more parts one by one, or spending yet more hard earned cash at the local specialist?
Plus how the chuff did it go through an MOT without a bulb in the ABS?
Cheers all
steve

Hi,its probably one of the abs sensors. They sometimes get dirty, worn or broken wire etc!
He probably knew the mot guy and took bulb out to deceive the new owner.
