Default Easy maf problem

Well it will be for some-one in the know, my bugeye was completly standard and running perfect, ive changed to a vf35,fmic,3" straight thru exhaust, decat uppipe, and 550cc injectors..... Not had remap done yet, right that out of the way, the cars fires up 1st time no problem but runs really bad, idles around 500rpm maybe even less, then if i try to give it a lil gas it cuts out, if i unplug the maf it runs perfect a lil fast 2k ish but no judder or cutting out...... Now could the maf be nkrd or could it be the fact of too much air and mods without remap? I havnt drove it btw im jst checking it over before i get it mapped..... Also just to add enginemapper said i should be able too drive it off boost to him but its completly undrivable with the maf plugged in, any advice welcome cheers guys Lee

could be over boosting/fueling and you will need a remap for def with them mods

Sounds like the DENSO ECU just can't cope with all the mods.......should idle OK and run on very light throttle but after that it will go closed loop and everything will start to go pants

Have you stuck on an induction kit as well ?

Like everyone said, it's likely overfueling, the mapper should be able to correct the fueling somewhat before he starts the mapping properly.

The Ecu decides how long the injectors should fire, and with larger injectors, it is feeding more fuel for the same firing time.
