Strange Noise When Turning
Hi Guys,
My classic MY98 developed this strange noise. Initially wasnt very obvious till lately. When turning ( left or right ) above 30 mph, there is this obvious "wok, wok" sound from the front till the car travel straight. A few seconds after the turn that is. I thought it was my fairly worn out tyres. I just changed my tyres this morning and that 'wok wok" sound is still there when doing a turn.
Cant be the front wheel bearing as it disappear a few seconds after the turn. The "wok wok" sound doesnt sound like a rubbing sound or metallic. More like a air blown across a hollow tube type of sound. Dont think it's brake pad rubbing on the disc as front pads always produce a metallic squel on the initial bite.
Any ideas ?
Thanks.
