Hi, I have a W reg Impreza 2000 Turbo with a Starter Motor / Flywheel issue. Been quoted anything from £700-£1000 to fix, and been warned off scrap parts! Any of you teccies advise of a solution. I marshal on events with the car regularly,so any WRC crews that could quote a competitive figure would be appreciated!

ive got a starter for sale, clean and in perfect working condition, car it came off had done 57000miles??? what the problem anyhow? loud clicking and wont start now and again?

 

Thanks for replying. Starter hasnt failed yet - just makes a loud bangng noise. which I have been told is the Flywheel knackered as well! How much do you want for the Motor-you can text me on 07935 313821 Cheers

 

whats your postcode and ill include postage or could do a deal of some sort as looking for a headunit, ive also got other bits and bobs cash if need be?? oh and ive actually two starters,( if u wantin a spare haha u never know )
