hks mushroom filter will this be ok fitted without mapping?green maf my sti 94 jdm.

If you change anything to do with the air flow and fuel mixture your wasting engine and money looks good sounds good, but you will loose power unless mapped. I had a turbo forester slapped a k&n on sounded like a Dyson hooverand the performance was total ****e, straight back on with std air box buy your self a decent panel filter. Try it and you will see what i mean but don't leave it on.
Also to much air can hole your pistons on shut off with out mapping.

as above, ran a perrin short ram intake could be heard alot and sounded like darth vader on spool up but didnt do much for the car, gutted the standard air box and snorkle and im using a k&n panel filter now runs alot better and doesnt suck in hot air from the engine as its enclosed. id only recommend an induction kit if your going for big power with a bigger turbo and having it mapped for it
