Default engine

can anyone tell me if i put a re-con engine in my car will it have to be re-mapped or will it be alright with the old ecu

Normally no if its a direct replacement but it also depends on why your original
engine failed.

Default ENGINE

supposed of been mapped to 320bhp but i dont think it has.lost oil and started rattling alot.so i think its blown or seized up.tried putting more oil back in but the rattling is still there when i put my foot on the accelerator
if you know anyone selling a ej205nw4bb engine please let me know

It would certainly be wise to have the map fully checked over once the new engine is fitted. Other wise you risk blowing the new engine
