Bonnet/Engine bay Seal

Hi,
Anyone remove the rear rubber seal that seal the gap between the rear engine bay and the bonnet ? Thought of removing this to allow or aid in engine bay cooling. Any advice or comment, thanks.

Leave it alone: the air is channeled down over the turbo and gearbox and helps to cool both.
