What are the symtoms of not taking the pill ???
When i bought my Subaru, i condemned my 2 port boost solenoid as not working properly, if at all.
Today on inspecting my old / now bypassed boost pipework i have found there wasnt / isnt a pill in the short feed pipe.
My question is :- What is the symptom of running with no pill ?? My car had low boost 0.5 bar ( actuator pressure ) right through the rev range. Would having no pill give this symptom ? I have just ordered a genuine Subaru pill off fleabay with a view to removing my manual boost controller and plumbing the standard set back in.
