Default Boost

Hi all.. Just wondered what sort of rpm my 96 wrx v limited should be boosting at.. It's kicking in around 5k. Seams a bit higher than my last wrx. Would this be due to fmic? Also boost hesitant at times like a stutter?

Typically a 96 WRX will have 1 bar in 4th gear around 3300 to 3500 rpm on level ground fully warmed. If your car does not have that then someone that knows what they are doing should have a look at it as there are so many possibilities as to why you are not getting better performance.
