Removing Tigerseal
Some of you might of read my thread a while back about fitting an STi8 carbon spoiler to my WRX, had a loooooad of problems with none of the holes lining up, having to drill more holes and then trying to seal them.
Well I thought I'd managed to seal all the holes but water is still getting in from somewhere, I wouldn't be overly bothered but I've about £500 of audio in the boot and I don't really want water getting to that.
I'm going to just go and buy and STi bootlid so the holes will line up perfectly (hopefully). But like I said I've tigersealed around 8 holes in my current boot lid, and i used A LOT of it.
Whats the safest/easiest way of getting the spoiler off without damaging either the spoiler or the bootlid, will tar and glue remover do the job or is there something that's designed just for this job.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Cheers

Its gonna be a f`kin nightmare mate, Do the studs place into the holes in the boot? If they don`t the only way i can think of removing it without damaging the spoiler would be to use some sort of piano wire and try and cut it from underneath, If the studs are going through into the boot itself that wont work, If your not too bothered about the boot, Petrol might soften it up a bit

From my experience, tiger seal isnt great at holding whatever it is attahced to, it is EXCELLENT however at remaining stuck to either item when removed, if that makes sense
i used it to stick the rubber spats on to the scoob, the spat didnt remain stuck, but the remains of the stuff remianed on the lower part of the wing and on the spat itself.
good luck
