I've heard that cars shipped to the UK are:
1) Fitted with cat-1 alarms.
2) Treated with additional underseal.

I know that '1' is true, but what about '2'.

Mine came without alsrm or underseal.

I had to get a Cat 1 alarm and tracker fitted before the insurance company would touch me and then I had it waxoiled after

Mine is (surprise) an MY94 WRX

hope this helps, get it checked out with the importers, it may be different for newer cars

If you are talking about EU imports to UK spec then I think '2' is correct.

If its coming from Japan you get neither of the above.
