I've heard that cars shipped to the UK are:
1) Fitted with cat-1 alarms.
2) Treated with additional underseal.

I know that '1' is true, but what about '2'.

Mine came without alsrm or underseal.

I had to get a Cat 1 alarm and tracker fitted before the insurance company would touch me and then I had it waxoiled after :cool:

Mine is (surprise) an MY94 WRX :)

hope this helps, get it checked out with the importers, it may be different for newer cars :)

If you are talking about EU imports to UK spec then I think '2' is correct.

If its coming from Japan you get neither of the above.
