Default 6 speed conversion

Fitted an 05 uk dccd 6 speed box to my 98 sti type r and obviously the front shafts have different ends going into the box so I thought I would swap the inner cv joints from the six speed shafts to my type r shafts but the splines on the shafts are smaller.
Where can I get the stubs from that will go into the box so that my original shafts can fit straight on?
Cheers

you will need the stubs from the 05- to fit. the will fit your hubs and the new box.

Do you mean the stubs that go into the box so that my female joints on my shafts can fit into the box? I've seen on import but it says 2000 to 2004 v7 to v8. My gearbox code is TY856WN6KA will they be ok?
Sorry I'm on my phone and don't know how to copy and paste the importcarparts link
Cheers

you can get some stub shafts and seals from subaru about £140 plus vat or find some 05 onwards wrx shafts they will fit the box and your hubs, or you could put some newage sti front hubs on your type r

this is some of the ways we have don the conversion in the past mainly use the stub shafts from subaru

Yes, and don't forget new oil seals as well to go with the stub shafts or you'lll lose all your oil out of the box.
