Default Engine diagnostics

Can anyone tell me if there is some kind of diagnostic tool which I can download to my laptop, then plug into my ecu somehow?

My engine management light has come on again and I am fed up with paying to be told that it is something as simple as needing new plugs!

Any info greatly appreciated

How about buying a code reader to see what the faults are and you can even turn the eml off etc

You will need USB-OBD cable which cost around £8

Plus SW like RomRaider and this too
