Hi i am new to all of this. I have owned a few non turbo imprezas befor and have now got a 1999 wrx uk spec. it runs well and goes ok but only seems to boost to 0.7 bar.

i wanted to know what boost i can run on the engine which would be safe ( wont blow up engine) but also give it more poke.

 

1bar perhaps maybe a little more, when was it last serviced n mileage?

 

just get it mapped don't just turn the boost up.
it is a little low. they run std .9 ish. check for leaks

 

It has just had a service and there are no air leaks but it has had a horrid 4 branch manifold fitted which is horrid tbh and rattles so if you know any cheep manifolds lol
