hi just having a bit of a play on the way home from work this morning.as you do.ho by the way i have a 2002 wrx turbo impreza.and dropped it down a gear from 5th to 4th and booted it and as usual shot off.then it lost power similar to when it goes in to the red.but it wasn't in the red.and the engine man light came on and stopped on.but it still seems to drive alright .with no loss of power.be very grateful for any advice.
If you have been giving it a bit through the revs chances are its a p0340 camshaft sensor code, Pretty common on the Bug, Get it cleared and see if it comes back.
Yeah mine always does the same mate it goes off after 5 starts don't no why tho a few people said it happened to there's but didn't happen again after remap.
