Went out for a blast yesterday, along the way the engine warning light came on, happened before and identified as boost is surging.

Then while on the way back going from second to third it just stopped allowing me to engage gear, as if the clutch had gone, got recovered back home for christmas dinner.

Just started now and engaging gears fine, clutch biting fine and the lights gone off, was it some kind of safety feature kick in? Pretty confused, help please!!

 

Theres no safety feature to stop it going in gear. Either a box or clutch issue. Get the fault codes read. They shoud still be stored

 

Cheers mate will get it seen to in the next day or two, does anyone have a clue what this could be? Seized up unable to get into gear one day, then working fine the next?

 

It could be your gearbox. Mine wouldn't go into reverse but then it would be fine. The gearbox gave up not long after.

 

Could it just be a gear linkage issue?
