Default turbo upgrade for a classic

first things first am i right in thinking my car has a td04???

how can i distinguish this as i cant see any numbers on it etc

although it has sti badges and interior and also the remains of a red inlet manifold where the paint has flicked off i am pretty sure its just a wrx as i checked the chassis numbers against a link on here and it just a wrx

anyhow...whats the best cheapish turbo upgrade to do with minimal mods?

cars pulls like a train and feels strong through every gear

but

everybody wants more power!!!

so what do you recommend...been reading into it a bit and iv seen like td series turbos and ihi vhf variants can anyone enlighten me as to what differences there is???

cheers

Year?

UK or JDM?

Saloon or wagon?

Answer these first and we'll be able to help more.

Or alternatively, post up the 7-digit "Applied model" code on the VIN plate (and photos if you can).

(Even so, it could well have a non-std turbo, etc on it anyway...)
