Default Dimple magnetic sump plug leak

Was feeling slightly piqued as oil useage had increased, but happened to look underneath and found the sump plug leaking...

I had fitted a Dimplex super magnetic sump plug last change and initially it looks as if this could be the problem.

After seeing the leak I nipped up the plug to see if this cure, but next day the drip was there agian, so decided to return the original plug, along with a new washer.

When I went to change I noticed the washer had splayed out from underneath the plug's shoulder.

On dropping the new washer over the Dimplex and OE plug, the Dimplex shoulder covers the washer less. I should have measured each but the Dimplex seems a smaller diameter, which would I'm guessing predispose the washer to splay out from underneath, which is what has happened in my case

This pic is of the Dimplex with a new washer, showing the washer as a larger dia than the shoulder. The plug is resting on the washer so lifting it on the plug's shoulder, but only slightly. The OE plug's shoulder covers the washer completely

Who is the seller on here who advertises these all the time (I have ads switched off so don't see it)?

I've forgotten their name?

Cost about £4 - was a thread about them a while back, I copied the part number to get one but not got round to it yet
