Help me get creative with interior heating ideas!
So i've stripped my classic for track purposes and took all the heating/fan system out.
I use my car as a daily and as you can all feel and see, the weather is very cold and the windows like to freeze/mist over lol.
I tried a 12V heater and was not impressed.
Now i'm thinking if i run some air ducting from the front of the car through the engine bay and into the cabin, do you think the air will come in a bit warm once the engine has heated up?
Does anyone have any other ideas how i can get some heat into the cabin not using the original bulky and ugly system?
Thanks

I've set out to make the fastest and best weight to ratio Impreza i can, i like the feel of a stripped car too, i can feel and hear the car better in my opinion, makes for a better driving experience.
To be honest, it's no so much the cold as i wrap up warm and when on track you get warm anyway, it's mainly the windows misting over that's annoying and i'm trying to work out a way to stop this.
If i can match the cabin temp with the outside temp the windows shouldn't mist over, i'm thinking an air feed from outside into the cabin aimed directly at the windows.
Thanks

Stripped out it's going to lose heat quickly, so however much you put in won't be enough.
You are going to have to bite the bullet. Either put the heater matrix back, or garage it over 8 months of the year

I found these that would be good to direct engine heat towards the winscreen.

Probably be this, a cold air feed from outside towards the window with the window slightly open or a second car lol.
Thanks
