Search is your friend. There should be a few posts where the wiring changes have been posted.

30secs using search (that's not a dig BTW) :-

Fitting Z32 maf to '96 classic ?

You had to click on "advanced search"; enter "z32 wiring"; select "search all posts"; and finally choose "display as threads". Then scroll through the results for an appropriate thread. Sorted.

Oh yeah - it was YOU on that MLR thread wasn't it?!

So you had an Impreza... moved to a an Evo... now back to an Impreza?

I thought you liked the Evo a lot more than the Impreza (IIRC)?!

I've not bought another impreza this is for a mates im mapping.
Evo was a lot better car than my impreza so much easier to make a nice fast road 400/400.
Did I like it more yes,did I use it more,no it just sat on the drive and got used occasionally

What about 'character' - does the Evo have one, like the Impreza?

I've heard that they're a bit anodyne - like driving a (really powerful) Mondeo, or something?

Power seems to be delivered in a more linear fashion if that's what you mean and they feel gutless when running standard boost although when you watch speedo they are not.
But stick 1.8bar through it and it becomes a very different car

Yeah that's precisely what I've heard. A 'boring' linear (non-turbo-like) power delivery - as a result, giving really deceptive acceleration. Obviously as std.

Yeah. The 'fabled' Evo handling - the most enjoyable asset in a car IMO. I'll have to try one before I die lol....
