to be honest i'd stay away from aluminium rads and get a standard copper rad , as ive been told quite a few scoobies with cheapish £100-150 aluminium rads have been coming into API impreza with cracks usually at the bottom corners which results in having to remove the rad completely to repair them !! i sold mine on following this advice just in case ? standard rads can cope with well over 400bhp i believe ?" correct me if im wrong ?

I concur on avoiding the cheap (£100-£180 ish) ali rads on ebay. I got one a couple of years ago which was fine to begin with but had many coolant loss issues soon after, replaced head gaskets (twice), still losing coolant, eventually replaced that and all is well.
