Default help please with timing belt

hello i put some little end bearings in last week and for the life of me i can not remember where the timing marks are does any one have a diagram on where they go/point .....

also on the spark plug leads theres a white and black plug insert i also cant remember if the white ones plug in at the front of the engine or the back ..

i done the obvious with the timing belt turned it over by hand 4-5 times to be safe and its fine but when i go to start it it just back fires and keeps turning over could the timing be wrong or spark plug leads be inserted wrong way .....

cheers for the help

its a 2002 bugeye wrx

Sound like plug lead in the wrong holes, swap them over one side at a time see what happens
