Default Aluminum radiator for my classic

Hey guys, looking for an advice

I'd like to replace the stock radiator with an aluminum on my my00 classic, did a little digging around and found the following:

Mishimoto MMRAD-GC8-93
Koyo R2218

The problem is both say they fit 93-98 models, have any one of you guys tried to fit them on a my99-00? can it be done?

cheers

Mayrun: Is yours fubar'ed? If not, why change it?

The ones off e-bay that go for between £40 and £70 are identical to the OE ones which are fine up and OVER 400bhp.

You can't go wrong with a Mishimoto or Koyorad, they're the rads that we use on our high end forged builds, some people just go for them if they're dressing up their engine bay as the look incredible but you will need slim line fans to use them as they are hefty.

In terms of necessity it depends on what level of power you're aiming for and I am speaking from personal experience when I say, it's best to avoid the cheaper "race" radiators from eBay, I ended up going with a 2nd hand oem rad from a breaker.

The drain plug in my radiator is broken, I think this is a good opportunity to upgrade to an aluminum since it's probably more durable and the same price as original one.

I'd imagine you can't go wrong going with one of the big names, looking around in rexnet.com.au I found a guy who told he was able to fit a Koyo R1819 radiator in his MY000 without major modifications.
