Default Boost Control 93 WRX problem

I have been running my car with the boost actuator plumed direct to theturbo, so 7 PSI with no problems. After an ECU change I put a manual boostcontrol in (Daws) and set it to about 15 PSI. No problems, but if I hold highrevs in 4 th or 5 th I get boost cut at the normal 16.5 PSI, this is confirmedwith my Boost gauge. So I backed the boost off, but still get creep from 14.5to 16 PSI. I have cleaned and put the 3 port sol back on and tried it , I getbetter boost early in the revs. On a private road in 4th I make 1 Bar at 2850RPM. I now don’t have very good control on the boost as there is no restrictorpill in the exhaust of the 3 port, this will effectively change the gain on the3 port and allow to much air out leaving the actuator closed.

So as the ECU has been set up for 16 PSI, I think I need to select arestrictor pill to get the gain match and allow the ECU to control to 16 PSI(15PSI will do). I will start with thestandard Pill.

1) DoTD05’s 16g suffer from boost creep or is the gate big enough ?3” exhaust ,no cat and really large downpipe.

2) Anyone know what places sell restrictor pill packs ? before I commission my local engineeringcompany to make some nylon ones at various sizes.

Buy some mig welding tips and run a drill through them to whatever size you want.
