hey just got my car complete de-catted.

have the standard exhaust, am going to take the cat to the scrap place, supposingly the mechanic said the cats worth quite a bit as far as cat prices goes...

does anyone have a rough idea, or has took one to get some cash?

you get around £80 in scrap value depending how many cats you have, but come MOT time you gonna have problems unless you know a friendly MOT tester

i know a friendly mot'er lol. i only have the 1 cat on the downpipe i think, thats all the classics hav dnt they? cheers!

you prob wont get much for 1, the 2 on a hawk is only worth about £80, way better off saving it, and £40 aint much if you need to replace the cat should your MOT guy not be available
