Handling trouble
Hey, just had 2 new front tyres, Dunlop fastresponse as the inside edge of my previous tyres came to the end of their life. I'm running a fast road setup with ~1 degree negative camber and half a mil of negative toe on the front and just over a degree negative camber on the rear and bang on with the toe.
The handling prior to getting these new tyres was incredible, (I've run in about 500 miles so far), but for some reason it seems as if the car is not really handling as well as it did around bends/corners etc. For example, I was driving around a slip road off the M25 onto the M40 and safely handled 70mph, but recently, it seems to feel like the back end is unstable at ~40.
There was a mistake at the garage whereby they screwed with my fast road setup but this has been rectified and the stats are near dead on to what they were.
I was told that putting new tires on the front and leaving the ones on the back would be fine but now I'm not so sure. There is plenty of tread left on the rear.

Tyre pressures correct?
some tyres take a while to settle in due to the release compound (to release the tyre from the mould) used in the manufacture sometime up to 700 or so miles.
TBH i have never found dunlop tyres that good.

I see, the front are Dunlop fast response and the rear are the yokohomas that were on it when the car was imported but plenty of tread on them. I will look at putting dunlops on the back 2 if it is that important, I was just told that it didn't really matter as long as I didn't sacrifice quality.
@JDM, yeah that makes sense :-)
@Gigsy Not sure I understand what you mean about 2psi being a better setup than 4 on the rear.
