MAF Adapter for induction kit?

Will that fit a bug wrx?
If so does that mean I can buy any cone filter and then just use silicon hose to connect the 2? Any negatives withthis?

most induction kits i have seen connect to the pipework post MAF. but a decent quality induction kit specific to your car, K&N Pipercross, etc but ensure you fit it correctly and do not increase any vibration to the MAF.
