Default FMIC

Quick question to you gurus out there. I have just bought a FMIC so i can fit my carbon reserve scoop bonnet. Is there any power gain to a FMIC?

Yes will have gain with supported mods and i would recommend fit FMIC with bigger turbo plus injectors on your WRX

I've run too FMIC on TD04

Usually the other way round, you buy a reverse scoop once you've fitted a FMIC not the other way round.

Going to need the map at least checking once it's fitted. But in all reality it's going to need remapping. I'd not of fitted one on it's own, the gains are minimal, should of really waited until it was needed imo

Could increase the lag though. On a 2.5 WRX with a TD04 running typically well under 1 bar boost at full power I would say its a backwards step going FMIC.

Agree, a FMIC on stock turbo is stupid, even the vf series turbos id stick with TMIC...16g or bigger, even pushing it with a 16g
