ive lost the key :(
ive lost the key to my scoob and need a new one where can i get one? or do i need to replace all locks and get a new key. as ive got another ignition barrel with key but the car is imobilised as there is no chip in the key anyone help??
A locksmith would be a good start, as you wont be able to change the barrell without the original key.
If its a 97 UK model, you'll be better off with a new lockset with immobiliser chip.
If its an import, no immobiliser, you can just get away with a new key.

if you have a transponder in your key , a subaru dealership will sort you out with a new key and program it to your car .... but it wont be cheap. IIRC , when i lost my key i was quoted nearly £200 for a new key and programming to my car . fortunately someone handed my key in to a local shop ,so i never found out , but thats the script ..
Still not a problem, you can buy cheap locksets with the transponder chip, and replace that do get it working. I do actually have a locksmith and transponder box for sale if needed. With 2 keys.
But the first hurdle is getting the barrell out by a locksmith. You can't do much without that sorted.
