Default Problem in boost?

Hi I have impreza classic turbo
I noticed recently when I get to about 4krpm it just dies and cuts out ???? Any ideas please, thanks in advances but if I slowly go high up the revs it seems ok but I do no I have a slight leak on the pipe that connects to the air box little black curved pipe""

You say cuts out what you mean engine dies ? if you have a small air leak it shouldnt stall the car where you from ? check engine light come on ?

It doesn't stall just does a little cut out in power like a judder as if the car red lines with no rev limiter

I'm fyom Bolton no engine lights either

Do you have a boost gauge in the car mate sound like a boost spike!!! If you have a air leak or boost leak that what will make boost spike . Check boost soilnid makeing a ticking noise when the cars running plus check all pipes going from turbo to the boost soilnid some times these spilt

Sorry I don't no what the soiling is but above the turbo there is a black pipe about aide of your hand that bends that attaches to the airbox that had a split into it I kind bodge it up and cut it but it isn't properly connected on correctly it may be under pressure as boost goes up

Take the Turbo Outlet pie off and the Actuator pipe off and spray cleaner throw the boost soilnid check the pipes are not F>@# !!!! any leaks will make you over boost will put money on its that or some boost leak
