Default Headers & up pipe needed?

Hoping you guys can help me out. Car is an my02 sti bugeye.

Iv bought a td05 20g, sytec adjustable fpr & Perrin 3port boost solenoid.

Currently using an aps sr40 with aps exhaust, hdi fmic & cai. Ecutek mapped.

Aiming for similar figures as the sr40 from the 20g but with less lag & more usable as a daily driver, rather than rev chasing all the time lol.

I'm using standard headers & up pipe at mo, is it worth swapping these out before getting the new parts fitted for mapping or will standard be ok?
Where's the best place to get them from? As I'm finding myself drawn to eBay alot as not sure where else to look lol!

if you want to improve spool and torque your best bet is to contact Harvey on here for some of his ported and wrapped headers and pipe. Nothing but good things about them on here.

do a search for Harvey headers mate.

If i would go with your setup,i would swap headers for Harvey ported headers with Up pipe, with this you will gain spool and top end power

Thanks for all the replys, you all seem confident it's worth doing.
