Basically as the title asks, would a gear **** fitted to a classic also fit a new age?

should do as mate had the same gear **** on when he had his 5 speed and now got a 6

 

Was that going from a classic gear stick to a new age gearstick? Its whether the threads on the gear sticks are the same?

yes it was mate he like's his p1 **** so still got it even though it's a 6 speed with new age linkage

It Will fit if its from a 5speed to a 5 speed

 

how often do you look at the stick ?

 

Its not becourse if the logo on top og the gearknop,
It will not work with a 5speed on a 6 speed linkage as the lift up mekanisme Cant be liftet to get the Car in reverse, not if the knop is screwed on so it sit right

 

he's got a 6speed box and 6speed linkage but the gear **** off a p1 they was 5 speed right ? yeah what am i saying i got a p1 **** on mine says 5 on it
