Is still on standard turbo then standard map sensor will be fine.

I cant answer that question as you havent asked me to map it. It is down to the individual mapper. Pointless me giving you a figure and you get it mapped by someone who runs different. Seen some stupid boost figures run on standard td04 by some mappers that clearly dont understand turbo speed and heat prevention.

Okay cheers simon nope you picked me up wrong mate when I said you told me before what the likely boost levels would be after remap I was refering to a previous question I had asked on s/net regards what boost levels my car would probably be running / standard and then likley when remapped and if I remember correctly it was your good self who advised me !!

so this map sensor would only be used when running a non standard turbo yep??

Standard sensor is not rated much more than 1.6bar. Safely you need a 0.2bar amount before you hit the limit of the sensor so you can have a boost cut set just in case a pipe comes off on the boost control system. So really maximum boost you could run is roughly 1.4bar.

TD04 turbo will only run this mid-range efficiently with supporting mods so most likely will be remapped for less.

Hope this helps,

Graham
