Another exhaust question?
Just a qiuck question,my friend has got a 94 WRx same as mine but
with a 3inch bellmouth decat into a 2.5 centre section and 2.5 rear box with jap style tip, at what stage does it need to be swapped out for a full 3in system?
can 290-310bhp be achived on this set up?
thanks benji

290 - 310 can be achieved on a std exhaust set up with good supporting mods ,so no need to worry about your current set up at the moment imho.If your thinking of going up and above 350+ bhp then a 3' system might be worth it.Having said that there are people running 400 bhp on a 2.5 ' systems quite comfortably.

Yes ,but just depends on the system , I recently had a 3' miltek system fitted and it does sound nice when your giving it plenty ,but it don't sound anything like my 2.5' afterburner vortex @ 4000rpm. IMHO it's not the noise it makes , its the sound that it makes
Miltek is great , vortex is awesome

It does sound ok ,but no louder than some 3' systems out there :

Or even a few 2.5' systems :
It just depends on what you choose
