Its a straight swap then mate ,easy enough ,just a bit curious as to which ecu you are using as the std is a Z4 on a td05.I recently fitted a 6K off a V3 sti and was much better than the Z4. What is the number on the ecu you are planning to fit as i thought V4's were 3 plug ecu ,i might be mistaken though, where as yours is a 4 plug.

Sounds like a nightmare Is the downpipe off now ? - which would leave the three nuts/studs on the up-pipe.

I guess your options are WD40, heat with a good quality blow torch that has a small hot flame and then a small angle grinder if all else fails. You may need to plan on getting the headers and up-pipe off in the end - in order to sort out studs etc. Best of luck !

Just been and had a look at an My99 I have. Problem is that there is a bracket that bolts to the top of the up-pipe and then to the side of the clutch housing. Without the turbo off, that is a bitch to get off and as far as I can see, the up-pipe needs that off to get it out. Maybe others can confirm ?.
