Thats odd.

I'd clean it up and try liquid metal to seal it.

If its threaded i'd get the right size bolt/screw put some thread lock on it. I'd have thought that'd be ok.

Why was it drilled in the first place?

Its so a sensor can be placed to monitor inlet temps, either that or water injection

Just realised and yes definately not for water injection, and not the best for inlet temps, lol but perhaps for a before and after intercooler test.

If it was a sensor (looks like it) you may struggle to get a bolt with the right thread and pitch and it may also be on a taper. The best thing to do is get it welded up by someone who does alloy welding
