Go for Newage WRX or STI, the classic STI intercoolers are not much better than standard WRX top mounts. I have a newage WRX one on mine running 320bhp.

Hi Mach, no my intercooler is one of the flat ones ratgher then a slanty, but thanks for the heads up all the same

Seen a good guide for fitting a newage Sti intercooler to a classic, but quite a bit of messing about when i am only aiming for 300bhp. So can i fit any "flat" classic sti TMIC as a direct replacement?
