Default Does it just pull out?

Do the rear drive shafts on a classic just pull out of the diff or are they held in by something?

they wil pull out, albeit as they will need to be gently pryed out with a lever as they have a circlip on the end to stop them popping out.

Do they just push back in then aswell? When refitting.
