Default Windscreen blowers not very powerful ?

Hi guys,

I've owned my 2001 bugeye for a few months now (my first one) and I have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it !
Now that the colder, damper & darker nights are drawing in I'm obviously using my windscreen blowers more & more. They are making all the right noises etc, and they do get warm but they don't seem very powerful particularly on the first couple of settings.
I'm thinking there might be a blockage somewhere perhaps, so I will have a good poke around at the weekend, but has anyone had similar problems or even a more underlying issue ?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lee

Thanks for your reply, I think I read somewhere about possibly changing the pollen filter. Is it an easy task or a bit fiddly ?

Cheers guys, just ordered a replacement filter. The step-by-step guide seems easy enough for even me to tackle !
Will post my results once fitted !

Thanks guys, replaced the pollen filter and the how to guide recommended by Athame1 was spot on. There were leaves, feathers and all sorts clogging up the filter.
The blowers are 10 times more powerful now!

Make sure the air is set to coming in from outside too and not recirculating
