Bosch 044 whining noise.
I am running a external Bosch 044,with a Walbro intank feeding a 3 litre fuel swirl pot.
However, since today the pump makes an incredible amount of noise, when I turn on the car.Normally the Walbro and the Bosch both prime, but the Bosch now sounds like it is cavitating/gurgling
Also the pump seems to be getting very hot (after cranking the engine for some time it fired up, but after a minute the Bosch was hot to the touch)
At first I thought the FPR was adjusted to too high a pressure, but with just some hose on the Bosch the sound persists.
Also, Bosch states 5 bar pressure, but If I see the fuel coming out of the hose, my pump seems nowhere near that (just guessing, as I have the FPR disconnected, so the Bosch gets fuel from the swirl pot, and can pump at full tilt into a container, without the FPR giving back pressure.
The car is running a rough Syvecs base map, on which it started beforehand, now however it doesn't anymore.
Could the Bosch be dead (never had it running dry, had a pre Walbro , and a pre Bosch filter, only 1000km's old max)

Found it. pump wasn't faulty ,the teflon hose running through the car got pinched shut, and my FPR was faulty as well.
