Why no flames with anti-lag?
had AL fitted to my 2002 bug....
spec.
2002 sti bug
fmic
cone filter
td-05
650's
tub. headers
simtek.
pops n bangs lovely, but no flames
Any ideas why not, and what needs to be done to make it do so

over run is the best time to switch it on say your in third when you should be in 4th blip it and turn it on just before over run and thats when you, get the blue flames

Yeah you just need to warm it up mate... you should never be using your anti lag from cold anyway.
But once you have warmed her up you gotta keep the rev's up and...
...just come down ace when there's a meet on I'll show you how to do it!

Everyones anti lag seems to work slightly differently. As with Sonics 'technique' i too find that the slightest of blips on the throttle as your at the rev down sweet spot will execute a huge explosion... however its all reletive to how hot the car is.....
I know with Alexs anti lag you will get an INSTANT explosion as soon as you activate the anit lag, obviously this is done when the speed and revs are correct......
I would prefer it if mine produced more aggressive flames, having said that being in the drivers seat I cant appreciatte them anyway! What I can appreciatte is banging away under tunnels and and making children cry...... Its the little things

Of course... I dint realise what that could of sounded like... What I meant to say was I like banging little children under tunnels and making them cry... and afterwards I like banging my anti lag as I leave...

Calm down . I dont think he is really banging kids in tunnels! And lucky for the kids down here there are no tunnels so we can all sleep safely tonight
