Air Box Hose set up?!?!

Air Box Hose set up?!?!
Just pulled a K&N cold air filter OUT of a new car, and want to re-fit original air box.
Box(s) is installed, plugged the 2 free hoses up on the left h/s, but on the right h/s there is a input that is bare looks like it wants a pipe on it....1 of the 2 hoses on the L h/s has another hose bridged/joined together with a bit of plumbing.
Anyone got a clear pic of their engine bay or could advise me
Car is a 98 Forester fs5 non-turbo, runs ok, judders slightly on acceleration in early revs, didn't with K&N on it.
